Lunch and small dishes

Creamy fish soup                                     from  NOK 110*        

With prawns, smoked salmon, white fish, and julienne vegetables. Served and homemade bread and ”flatbrød” – a traditional flat bread.

Meat balls of moose meat with tomato sauce, Brié croquette with cloudberry chutney, and smoked salmon- and prawn bread toast.

a different bacalao dish every week made from cod caught in the sea outside the islands of Vesterålen, salted and dried at Andøy Friluftssenter, - served with traditional “flat bread” or gluten free flat bread.

Baked Arctic charr                                   NOK 280     
with creamy spinach- and tarragon sauce, pan fried carrot, and squash julienne, and steamed potatoes. 
The arctic char is produced by Sigerfjord Fisk in Vesterålen.
(allergens: fish, milk protein, and shallot onion)

 

 “Boknafisk”                                                   NOK 295         
- a semi dried stockfish – a traditional recipe made with cod caught in Vesterålen, - served with a carrot- & pea  stew, a bacon- & butter sauce, and steamed potatoes.(allergens: fish, milk protein)

Provencal braised Arctic beef                      NOK 285                 
served with a red wine-, tomato-, silver onion-, olives-, and bacon sauce, served with sweet peas, strips carrot, and a tasteful homemade potato purée.

Most of our desserts are made with cloudberries picked from Andøy Friluftssenter’s own cultivated cloudberry fields by our own pickers. The berries are picked with care to maintain the rich taste and best quality so that our guests can enjoy a special            moment. All desserts are made with local eggs.
